26-Year-Old Groom Dies of Sudden Heart Attack During Wedding Procession in Madhya Pradesh

Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh – A wedding celebration turned into a tragedy when a 26-year-old groom suffered a fatal heart attack during his baraat on Friday night. The groom, identified as Pradeep Jat, was the son of the local village head and a former district president of the National Student Union of India (NSUI), affiliated with the Congress party.

Jat was riding a horse in his wedding procession when he suddenly collapsed, shocking his family and guests. A video of the incident, which surfaced on social media the following day, shows him dressed in traditional attire as he approaches the wedding stage. Moments later, he leans forward on his horse and becomes unresponsive. A relative attempts to help him dismount, but he collapses before assistance can be provided.

Dr. R.B. Goyal, civil surgeon at the district hospital, confirmed that Jat was rushed to the hospital by family members but was declared dead on arrival. He was a resident of Soonswada village, and the cause of death is suspected to be a heart attack.

The tragic incident has left the community in deep shock and mourning.
