The brain teaser was shared a day ago on Threads. It has since then received numerous comments from puzzle lovers.

“63 is the answer. There are 7 men. Each man has 1 wife, so there are 7 wives. Each couple has 7 children, making it (7 \times 7 = 49) children. Adding them all together: (7 + 7 + 49 = 63),” said an individual.

Another added, “7 men+7 wives=14 homosapiens. Each man and each wife has 7children that means to get the total we take 14×7=98 people.”

“7 men have 7 wives. I count that as 14 people because if they had specified “…7 wives each” then I would’ve said each man has 7 wives. Anyways. 14. Then ‘each man & each woman have 7 children’, so 1 family has 7 children. As there are 7 families here consisting of a mother and a father, 7×7 = 49. 14 + 49 = 63 people,” expressed a third.
