Pune | March 5, 2026: A tense situation unfolded at the MIT ADT University campus in Pune on Wednesday after an angry father confronted a student accused of harassing his daughter online for the past 15 days. The confrontation soon escalated into a scuffle inside the campus.
According to information received, the accused student, who studies at DY Patil College, had allegedly been harassing the girl through online platforms for the last two weeks. Troubled by the repeated harassment, the student informed her father about the matter.
When the accused reportedly arrived at the MIT ADT campus again on Wednesday, the girl’s father confronted him and questioned his actions. During the confrontation, tempers flared and a heated argument broke out between the two sides, which eventually led to a physical altercation inside the campus.
The victim’s family has also alleged that they had earlier filed a complaint with the university administration regarding the harassment. However, they claim that no concrete action had been taken by the authorities despite several days passing.
