Rajkumar Hirani’s iconic film “3 Idiots” has once again made waves, this time catching the attention of The Academy. On Thursday, The Academy’s official Instagram page posted a clip from the 2009 film, starring Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, and R Madhavan. The clip highlights a hilarious scene where the characters Rancho, Raju, and Farhan arrive late for their exam. They are continuing to write even after time is up, much to the invigilator’s frustration. In a clever move, Rancho mixes their answer sheets with the hundreds of others, making it impossible for the invigilator to reject them.
The Academy captioned the clip with, “Rancho’s presence of mind was at 100% here,” sparking a wave of reactions from fans.
One enthusiastic fan commented, “To be honest this movie deserves an Oscar much better than Hollywood movies.”
Another added, “The whole movie is awesome!”
