One passenger took to social media to share the ‘late-night scenes’ at the airport, highlighting the inconvenience caused by flight delays every 30 minutes and expressing disappointment with IndiGo’s handling of the situation.
Passengers at Bangalore Airport experienced frustration as IndiGo allegedly delayed flights five times, with notifications given every 30 minutes. The delays reportedly caused inconvenience and discontent among those waiting for their flights.
Someswar Deb, the passenger who shared the incident on social media, expressed his disappointment with IndiGo Airlines. He criticized the airline for what he described as the “last stupid reason” given for the delay, citing a lack of crew members for the flight.
Deb shared a video on social media, showing several passengers gathered in front of an IndiGo check-in counter at the airport. The video captures the atmosphere of dissatisfaction as passengers question and complain to the airline staff about the recurring delays.
The post gained traction on X, accumulating around four lakh views and receiving numerous reposts and comments. Passengers expressed their frustration, with some criticizing IndiGo’s service and calling for government intervention to protect passengers’ rights.
Some users tagged the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Union Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia, urging the government to take action against airlines like IndiGo. Concerns were raised about the need for better services and accountability.
Tagging DGCA and Union Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia in the comment, a user wrote, “Will the government take any action against these airlines and protect passengers right? @IndiGo6E is not able to serve passengers.”
