Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Convoy Accident, Four Vehicles Collided on Each Other
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s convoy was involved in a collision today in Jalgaon, causing significant damage to the vehicles but fortunately resulting in no casualties or serious injuries. The accident occurred while the convoy was moving from Jalgaon Airport to a major rally organized under the Chief Minister’s “My Beloved Sister” initiative.
The incident took place within the airport precincts, where four police vehicles of the escort collided. Despite the serious nature of the accident, no one was reported injured. The damaged vehicles were from the police convoy providing security for the Chief Minister’s visit.
The rally, a key event for the Maha Vikas Aghadi, marks a crucial effort in their strategy for the upcoming state assembly elections. The Maha Yuti, consisting of BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP, is intensifying its campaign following recent setbacks in the Lok Sabha elections.
Chief Minister Shinde, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, had arrived at the airport to attend the event. After the accident, the convoy experienced a brief delay before proceeding to the rally site. The Chief Minister and other dignitaries eventually reached the venue in alternate vehicles from the convoy.
The incident underscores the challenges faced during high-profile events and highlights the importance of ensuring robust safety measures for public officials.
