Pune: Members of Datta Guru Math, a temple in Parvati area, Pune, will hold a peaceful bike rally on October 13 i.e. Friday from 11 am.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Nikhil Pawar, Member of Datta Guru Math, Parvati, said “Desecration of the holy feet of Shri Datta Maharaj was observed at Girnar Parvat in Gujarat state. Hence, to condemn the heinous act, all the Datta devotees in Pune will join us in a peaceful bike rally which is going to be conducted on October 13 from 11 a.m. from Muktangan English School to the Office of Pune District Collector. Around 75 to 100 two-wheeler vehicles will be there & more than 200 to 250 devotees are going to join us in this rally.”
As per further information shared by Pawar, “We have a Math of Datta Maharaj at Parvati, Pune named “Shri Datta Guru” and this Math has at least 1000 to 1500 followers. We are going to take out a peaceful bike rally with around 100 vehicles from Muktangan School, Shivdarshan to the District Collector’s Office. I assure you that the rally will be completely peaceful and there will be no law and order problem. 200 to 250 people will join in this.”
