Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced that funds for the Ladki Bahin Yojana have been secured in the budget until next March.

Speaking in Nagpur, Fadnavis emphasized the positive impact of the scheme on voter support, stating, “Our votes will increase due to Ladki Bahin Yojana. The money for Ladki Bahin Yojana till next March has been kept in the budget.”

He also addressed concerns raised by opponents who had taken the matter to the High Court, noting that the court did not accept their request. Fadnavis assured that those whose forms are yet to be updated need not worry, as they will receive the benefits once their forms are processed.

Highlighting other initiatives, Fadnavis mentioned the introduction of the Lake Ladki scheme, which will provide Rs 1 lakh to eligible girls. He countered criticisms from Mahavikas Aghadi about rising gas prices by announcing that the government will provide three free gas cylinders per year. Additionally, the government plans to make girls’ education free and has introduced an apprenticeship scheme to benefit 10 lakh students by providing employment opportunities.

Fadnavis also pointed out the government’s achievements, such as insuring farmers for Rs 6,000 for just one rupee and addressing the price drop in cotton and soybeans. He promised free electricity to farmers through solar power arrangements and criticized opposition parties for their inconsistent policies.

He further mentioned the introduction of a scheme for tribal students and infrastructure developments in Nagpur district, including the Ganga Gadkari project and the Nala Ganga scheme, which is expected to receive cabinet approval soon.

Concluding his speech, Fadnavis expressed confidence in his party’s future success, stating, “We have brought a large amount of investment in Vidarbha. Our problem is that after 2014, we got used to winning. So even if we lose one election, they get tired, disappointed, and spread negativity. They should leave it. I believe that we will bring our government in three months.”

This statement underscores the government’s commitment to various welfare schemes and development projects while addressing public concerns and opposition criticisms.
