Maharashtra CM Fadnavis Assures Preservation of Mahanubhav Sect Temples
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured the complete development of all Mahanubhav sect temples in the state within the next five years. He also pledged to remove encroachments on temple land and ensure their overall progress.
He made this announcement on Sunday (Feb 2) during the Navparva and Kalash Sthapana ceremony at Shri Krishna Dev Ukhlai Temple in Hadgaon. Fadnavis expressed his deep respect for Dev Ukhlai Mata and the Datta Bapu Math, highlighting their spiritual importance.
He praised Chakradhar Swami, the founder of the Mahanubhav sect, for spreading its teachings worldwide. He also admired the craftsmanship of the Shri Krishna idol installed in the temple.
Fadnavis acknowledged the efforts of Yogiraj Bapu for carrying forward the legacy of Datta Bapu. He also appreciated his efforts in organizing such a large event, bringing together thousands of devotees.
Several prominent leaders attended the event, including former MP Subhash Wankhede, MLAs Hemant Patil, Baburao Kadam Kohlikar, Bhimrao Keram, Balaji Kalyankar, Anand Bondharkar and other dignitaries from the Mahanubhav sect.
Fadnavis’ presence was the result of a personal invitation extended by Mahanubhav sect leaders in Nagpur.
