The park integrates eco-friendly features like water-recharge pits, a natural pond, and a bambusetum to absorb vehicular emissions. It offers walking paths, birdwatching towers, an amphitheatre and family-friendly amenities like a children’s play area. Gadkari, whose constituency is Nagpur, spearheaded the project, which was approved in March 2023 with a development cost of ₹14.31 crores. The park is part of a larger initiative to create a green, sustainable infrastructure around Nagpur city, offering a safe haven for local and migratory birds.
