In a unique turn of events, wedding bands are facing a surge in demand, not for traditional wedding songs, but for devotional music. The reason behind this unexpected demand is the upcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22.

Several celebratory events across Delhi, including temples, societies, markets, and communities, are set to commemorate this significant occasion. Wedding bands are now preparing to perform devotional songs and bhajans to add to the festive spirit.

Over 1,500 events are scheduled across Delhi, aligning with the consecration ceremony and coinciding with the commencement of the wedding season. Devotional performances are in demand due to the wedding season and the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple.
