In June, Singh received an email from the Training and Placement cell of her college, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, inviting her to apply for the internship. This led her to a virtual career talk organized by Google, followed by an online assessment. The assessment tested her skills with challenging questions on graphs and dynamic programming, setting the stage for the rigorous selection process.
“Finally, got an offer from @Google for software engineering intern 2025. Here goes the thread for how it all happened,” Singh shared on X (formerly Twitter). The first interview was a 50-minute session that focused on complex data structure and algorithm questions. Both rounds were eliminatory, meaning only those who performed well in the first round advanced to the next.
