Led by renowned experts, the course features grammar sessions taught by Professor Imre Bangha, and practice sessions conducted by Dr. Ashwini Mokashi, a Pune native and Oxford lecturer. Mokashi, who remains closely connected to Marathi culture, emphasized that despite a decline in interest in Indian languages in recent decades, young intellectuals are eager to preserve and promote these languages.
Dr. Mokashi, a Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, recently guided a Marathi reading group at Oxford through the 17th-century text *Bahinabaichi Gatha*, showcasing her deep connection to the language.
