Pune District Court Metro Station To Close For 5 Hours During PM Modi’s Visit
Pune’s District Court Metro Station will be closed for five hours on September 26 due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to inaugurate the new underground metro line from District Court to Swargate. The station will be closed from 1.30 PM to 7 PM for security reasons.
Maha-Metro officials have announced that services between District Court and Swargate will resume briefly from 8:30 PM to 10 PM on the same day. Regular metro operations will start from September 27.
To reduce inconvenience, free PMPML bus services will be available for passengers between Shivajinagar and Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) stations. Passengers on the Pimpri to Shivajinagar and Ramwadi to Vanaz routes will face minimal disruptions, except for the closure of District Court station.
Travelers from Vanaz or Ramwadi heading towards Pimpri are advised to disembark at PMC station and use the free bus service to reach Shivajinagar Metro Station.
All metro services will return to normal after 7 PM following the inauguration event.
