According to police officials, a dispute had allegedly existed between the complainant and the accused following an earlier incident involving damage to the doctor’s vehicle. Investigators believe the disagreement escalated when the two encountered each other again on Sunday morning.

In her complaint, the Army officer stated that she was walking towards her parked vehicle outside the COD Mess when the accused allegedly approached her, pushed her, verbally abused her, and issued threats during the confrontation.

Police said the complaint was filed promptly on the same day, following which an FIR was registered at the Dehu Road Police Station on Sunday afternoon.

Senior Police Inspector Vikram Bansode confirmed that the accused has been arrested and that further investigation is underway to establish all circumstances surrounding the incident.
