Pune News: Fire Breaks Out In Sunshree Suvarnayug Society On NIBM Road, One Dead, One Injured
Pune: A fire broke out at Sunshree Suvarnayug Society in Kondhwa Khurd, Pune, reportedly due to a curtain catching fire from a lamp placed for religious worship.
The fire escalated after an AC compressor exploded, worsening the situation.
According to residents, the fire originated in the home of Vijay Vinod Kaldhonkar (44).
Emergency services were called, and firefighters managed to control the blaze.
Unfortunately, Vrunda Sangwar (65) was declared dead, while Manoj Borkar (75) sustained injuries and was rushed to Command Hospital for treatment.
