Commissioner Shekhar Singh stated, “This Cell will act as a bridge between the municipal corporation and local industries, helping to address key challenges faced by entrepreneurs. A helpdesk under this cell will be set up at the MCCIA Bhosari office to ensure timely and efficient redressal of issues, thereby saving time for the industry representatives. This initiative aligns with the spirit of ‘Government at Your Doorstep’.”

The cell will focus on continuous dialogue and development of industry-friendly policies. Monthly meetings will be conducted at the official level, and quarterly meetings will be chaired by the Commissioner to resolve issues and take policy-level decisions. The Cell will also facilitate skilled manpower through skill development centres, assist in providing social welfare services to workers, and support city development projects through CSR engagement.
