Pune News : PMC does patch work on pothole ridden road in Mohamadwadi
Amidst the heavy traffic congestion caused due to road closure on NIBM road due to ongoing road work between Sunshree Kangan and Cloud 9, the demand for clearing the potholes on Marvel Sangria – Dorabjee Paradise road grew higher.
Ever since the road was closed on NIBM road, the trouble for local citizens in Mohammadwadi, Undri doubled as this is the only easiest access road to the area and got choked up completely due to heavy traffic. Many motorists were stuck in the traffic for more than 45 minutes to cross the 1 km stretch.
After much follow up by Pune Pulse, local residents in the last few days, the Pune Municipal Corporation’s road department cleared the potholes by levelling them with tar and gravels. The major potholes on the road are now being filled up by the PMC which will make the travel smooth.
PMC officials are hoping that the road from the hill side will soon complete levelling and motorable road will ease the congestion on the road near Palace Orchards. Also, local residents demanded more deployment of Traffic personnel starting from NIBM chowk to Palace Orchards to ease the congestion.
