Pune: Teen Killed by Friends Over Small Dispute in Talegaon

A murder in broad daylight has sent shockwaves across Talegaon. On Friday afternoon, a young man was fatally stabbed with a sharp object outside Saraswati Vidyalaya in Talegaon Dabhade, allegedly over a trivial dispute.

The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Aryan Shankar Bedekar, a resident of Siddharthnagar, Talegaon Station.

Shockingly, the perpetrators were reportedly acquaintances of the deceased. The accused individuals, currently identified as Shivraj Koli, Santosh Koli, Ashish Lokhande, and Polya Lokhande, are allegedly responsible for the heinous crime.

Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that Aryan was brutally attacked by four acquaintances following a minor altercation.

The dispute allegedly escalated, and the suspects, fueled by anger, assaulted Aryan with a sickle and other sharp objects. The victim sustained severe injuries to his face and head, ultimately succumbing to his wounds. The perpetrators reportedly fled the scene immediately after the attack.

After witnessing the brutal attack, bystanders promptly alerted the police, who swiftly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, the police team secured the area and arranged for the victim’s body to be transported to the government hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The process of registering a formal case was ongoing late into the night as investigators worked to gather evidence and piece together the events surrounding the crime.
