Roseland Residency Celebrates 5-Day Ganesh Utsav with Enthusiasm and Fervor

Roseland Residency, Gate-4, recently celebrated its 5-day Ganesh Utsav with great enthusiasm and traditional fervor. The festivities brought together people from various sectors of society, enhancing the spirit of unity and togetherness.

The Ganpati Pranapratishtha (ritual installation) was performed by ACP Shri Sachin Hire. The honor of leading the Ganpati Aarti was shared by several distinguished individuals, including:

Students from the Bal Sanskar Varga,

Dr. Anil Santpure (Orthopedic Surgeon – Aundh Chest Hospital),

Shatrughan Kate (Corporator),

Balaji Patre (Journalist, Sakal),

Ajay Jain (Journalist, Pune Pulse), and

Senior citizens of the society.

Throughout the festival, residents, especially children, actively participated in various cultural events such as rangoli making and culinary competitions. The event also featured a vibrant Dhol-Tasha-Lazim troupe, with around 100 participants, including children and women, who added an energetic touch to the celebrations with their spirited performances.

The success of the Ganpati Utsav was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the society’s president, Sandeep Thange, secretary Vineet Saxena, vice-president Vikram Shinde, joint secretary Mrs. Sunanda Gawli, temple committee in-charge Mrs. Vaishali Deshpande, cultural committee in-charge Mrs. Babita Banerjee, decoration in-charge Dr. Varsha Ghale, and committee members Mahesh Chaudhary, Sakharam Deshpande, and Rajiv Ranjan, who managed the Ganapati Utsav procession. Senior citizen coordinator Mr. Harivallabh Shrivastav also played an essential role, along with all committee members and society staff.

Roseland Management expressed its gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this Ganesh Utsav a memorable and joyful celebration.
