Khadki: The Ratha Yatra celebration in Pune was marked by vibrant festivities as 15,000 devotees participated in the 10th annual event at Sri Jagannath Mandir, Khadki. The Odia community residing in Pune gathered with immense zeal and reverence to pull the chariot carrying the adorned idols of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra.

 The traditional rituals, including the Chera pahara and the distribution of 56 types of Prasad, added to the spiritual ambiance of the event, with the Jagannath committee ensuring that Prasad reached all devotees present.

The Sri Jagannath Trust Pune, a dedicated community organization promoting Jagannath culture and traditions in Pune, orchestrated the grand Ratha Yatra event. Committee members put in immense effort to ensure the event’s success, which was acclaimed as one of the city’s most significant Ratha Yatra celebrations.

People from diverse backgrounds, including families, children, and elders, graced the festival, creating an electrifying atmosphere with chants, slogans, and bhajans resonating as they joyfully pulled the chariots. The Ratha Yatra at Sri Jagannath Mandir, Khadki, Pune, exemplified the community’s unity in commemorating their heritage with profound devotion and enthusiasm.
