Pune: Using concise language enhances communication, while unnecessary words can cause confusion, making it difficult for individuals to understand the intended message. In some cases, unconventional responses may be seen as offensive by many people. A similar incident occurred involving an Indian student who applied for an internship at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

The student expected a positive response, but the reply he received left him as well as many internet users confused. This unexpected event highlighted the professor’s unusual response and attracted a wide audience. A social media user named Harshit Tiwari shared a screenshot of the email exchange on platform X, along with a caption asking for an explanation of the professor’s remark. In the screenshot, the student introduces himself and submits his internship application.

The professor’s response to the email was rather unconventional, as he expressed concern about air pollution caused by flying. Consequently, he declined to extend an invitation, suggesting that the individual consider pursuing their internship in proximity to their place of residence in order to mitigate the environmental impact.

Posted on October 24, this screenshot has garnered close to 100,000 views and received over 700 likes. Furthermore, it has elicited a diverse range of comments, encompassing both favourable and unfavourable perspectives, regarding the email correspondence.

A shocking case of illegal waste dumping has come to light within the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limits near Kamala Nehru Park in Shivajinagar. Ahead of the monsoon season, when civic authorities are expected to intensify the cleaning of drains and streams as per the directives of the Pune Municipal Commissioner, waste was allegedly found being dumped directly into a drainage channel.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the effectiveness of pre-monsoon desilting and cleaning operations. Instead of removing debris and ensuring smooth water flow to prevent flooding during heavy rains, the dumping of waste into the drain could obstruct water movement and increase the risk of waterlogging in the area.
