For countless hopefuls, passing the Civil Services Exam (CSE) is not merely an ambition; it represents a route to obtaining esteemed positions like IAS, IPS, and IRS. These prestigious careers allow individuals to rise within the ranks of civil servants. However, succeeding in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam is a challenging endeavor that requires unwavering commitment and hard work. This is why only a limited number of candidates succeed, while many keep trying year after year. Those who reach this goal often experience a significant transformation in their lives.

One such determined individual is IAS officer Priyanka Goel, whose determination and strength helped her navigate several challenges to achieve her success. Her father is a businessman, and her mother is a homemaker.

Priyanka Goel earned her commerce degree from Keshav Mahavidyalaya (KMV) at the University of Delhi. She completed her 12th grade at Maharaja Agrasen Model School in Pitampura, Delhi, where she achieved an impressive score of 93%. Her journey toward the CSE began in 2016, and she took her first attempt in 2017. In 2018, she narrowly missed passing the prelims by just 0.3 marks.

In her sixth and final attempt, Priyanka achieved success in the UPSC 2022, earning an All India Rank (AIR) of 369. She performed exceptionally well in her optional subject, public administration, scoring 292 marks, and achieved a total of 965 marks, which included 193 marks in the interview.

Due to family issues that impacted her earlier preparations, Priyanka dedicated herself to studying 17-18 hours a day for two months leading up to the exam. This intense effort ultimately resulted in her securing an impressive rank.

Beyond her academic accomplishments, Priyanka has also gained significant popularity on social media, with over 146K followers on Instagram. Her six-year journey through the UPSC process stands as a strong testament to her resilience, determination, and hard work. Her relentless commitment culminated in her placement in the DANICS cadre, which includes Delhi, Andaman, and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
