Vintage and Classic Cars Fiesta to be held in Pune on March 29 and 30
Pune is set to witness an extraordinary celebration of automotive heritage with the Vintage & Classic Car/Motorcycle Annual Fiesta 2025 on March 29 & 30 at the Royal Western India Turf Club, Pune. This grand showcase will be inaugurated with a due ceremony on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Offering a rare glimpse into automotive heritage, the fiesta will be open to the citizens free of charge on both days, as said by Nitin Dossa, Chairman of the Vintage and Classic Car Club of India (Mumbai), during a press briefing. Subhash Sanas of Subhash.B.Sanas Vintage and Classic Car Museum, Western India Automobile Association (WIAA) President Prakash Kulkarni, General Secretary Arnav S., Former General Secretary Subhash Goregaonkar, Nishant Mehta from Michelin India and N Mehta Company were present during the press conference. In homage to Pune’s first Mayor, the late Baburao Sanas, a distinguished trophy will be conferred upon the most exquisite vintage car of the exhibition.

This prestigious event is presented by Michelin India & N M Tyres, Co-partnered by RWITC, and Powered by Maharashtra Tourism in association with Western India Automobile Association (WIAA).
The Fiesta will feature an extraordinary collection of 100 rare and highly valuable vintage and classic cars, along with 100 vintage scooters and motorcycles offering enthusiasts and collectors an unparalleled showcase of timeless automotive craftsmanship.

The event has garnered immense enthusiasm not only from Pune but also from Mumbai. A key highlight of the Fiesta will be a selection of vintage and classic automobiles once owned by Bollywood and Hollywood luminaries. A major attraction will be India’s oldest running car, the 1903 Humber, owned by Abbas Jasdanwalla (Mumbai). The exhibition will also showcase iconic vehicles from Subhash.B.Sanas Vintage and Classic Car Museum. It will showcase heritage once owned by renowned personalities, including a Dodge Kingsway used by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and family, Chevrolet Impala convertible once owned by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Hollywood legend Al Pacino’s Mercedes-Benz, Amitabh Bachchan’s white Mercedes, Vinod Khanna’s rare two-door silver Mercedes, Mercedes Benz 2009 used by the legend Late Shri Balasaheb Thackeray, two door sports Mercedes Benz 1982 owned by Chunkey Pandey, Mercedes Benz Limousine 1981 used by His Highness King of Brunal, Mercedes Benz 1982 used by the Chief of German Police, a 1952 Chrysler Convertible ex-GUV Madras from the collection of Nitin Dossa, a 1947 MG owned by Yash Ruia, along with vintage cars from other renowned celebrities, as well as the legendary Rajdoot motorcycle from the Bollywood film ‘Bobby’.
Additionally, the exhibition will showcase rare gems like Elvis’ 1933 Pebble Beach USA-winning car, a 1919 Overland belonging to Shekhar Savdekar, a 1956 Dodge, the 1938 Norton 500—one of the oldest motorcycles in existence, the iconic Austin 7 etc. The display will also include esteemed international marques such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, Morris Convertible, Austin, Ford, and other distinguished foreign automobiles.
The showcased collection belongs to prominent automotive enthusiasts such as Dhananjay Badamikar, the Dahanukar family, Yohan Poonawalla, Zaheer Vakil, the Sable family, Mumbai’s Nitin Dossa, Yash Ruia, and several others.
