These vehicles, each with a story to tell, will showcase the evolution of transportation and offer a glimpse into the past. The event, which kicks off on Saturday at 10 a.m., is a collaborative effort by Michelin India, N M Tyres, and Maharashtra Tourism, among others.

The exhibition will be a captivating journey through time, showcasing a diverse collection of vintage and classic vehicles. Among the highlights will be India’s oldest running car, a 1903 Humber owned by Abbas Jasdanwalla from Mumbai.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to see vehicles from the Subhash B Sanas Vintage and Classic Car Museum, including a Dodge Kingsway once used by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, a Chevrolet Impala convertible that belonged to Indira Gandhi, and cars owned by Bollywood and Hollywood stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Al Pacino, and Vinod Khanna. Adding to the event’s appeal is a 2009 Mercedes-Benz that was once driven by Balasaheb Thackeray.

Nitin Dossa, the chairman of the Vintage and Classic Car Club of India, stated that the exhibition will be open to the public at no cost, providing an opportunity to view some of the finest vintage cars. This year, the event will focus exclusively on the exhibition, as no rally will be held due to traffic issues.

The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature a collection of rare cars, motorcycles, and scooters, including notable vehicles owned by renowned collectors such as Dhananjay Badamikar, Yohan Poonawalla, and Zaheer Vakil.

The exhibition will honor Baburao Sanas, Pune’s first Mayor, by awarding a trophy to the most exceptional vintage car on display.
