68 batteries stolen from CCTVs installed in public spaces in Pimple Saudagar - Pune Pulse

Pune: An incident has come to light in Pimple Saudagar wherein 68 batteries intended for CCTV at a junction box were stolen. The incident happened on October 15.
According to the provided information, 56 batteries of 65 watts and 12 batteries of 100 watts of HBL Company were stolen. The theft of 68 batteries occurred by unlocking 11 linksets locks without the company’s authorization. The stolen batteries are estimated to be worth Rs 1,90,000.
As per the information received, the accused has not yet been identified, and a complaint has been filed by Suhas Suresh Keskar, a 49-year-old resident of Shinde Vasti. Investigation is underway at Sangvi Police Station.
