Lockdown has surely restricted us from flexing our happiness in the festivals and public gatherings – in fact – introduced us to the ‘Work from Home’ culture, but an Aundh based family has flipped the horrors of the ‘Work from Home’ culture, mirroring ‘What-if Ganesha observes work from home than entering the earth during Ganesh Chaturthi?’

The thoughtful and perception-filled miniature decoration made by Pinak Mengle and his two daughters, Nimisha Mengle, 22-years-old & Sanyukta Mengle, 16-years-old, shed beans on the tag of home isolation and the lockdown.

While talking to Pinak Mengle, he said, “This pandemic when everybody is working from home, we thought what if Ganesha decides to work from home and not step into our world? So, the process started with visualising the setup and then we decorated by keeping the real world on our vision.”

The family has presented a beautiful miniature bunglow on Mount Kailash with television, headphones, laptop and a live zoom call. The added attractions sets the view mesmerized and distinct. The innovative way of how our world in the current condition can be used by god, too, suggests Pinal. The decoration also involves Mahadev in a more contemporary setup by referencing our regular lives.
