Due to the increase in the number of corona patients in the state, ‘Corona Task Force’ has been set up again. The former head of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Dr Raman Gangakhedkar has been appointed the president of the task force.

The Health Services Commissioner will be the Member Secretary of the Task Force. Patients of ‘JN-1’ virus, a new subtype of corona virus, have been detected in the last few days. Therefore, the health department said that a task force has been started to take measures.

As the Corona crisis is rearing its head again, everyone’s concern has increased due to the discovery of a new variant, JN-1. Doctors advise not to be lax about the health of children, but to take necessary care. Vaccination, precautionary measures to avoid contracting the virus and prompt treatment in case of symptoms are also suggested.

During the previous Covid pandemic, the third wave was considered dangerous for children. After the situation returned to normal, life was seen to be normal. However, recently, the number of patients with the JN-1 variant of the corona virus has started increasing, and this has alerted the health system. The health system is also suggesting to take special care of children.

Common cold-cough is often treated at home. However, considering the seriousness of the present condition, it is advised to complete the treatment under the guidance of a specialist doctor. An appeal is also being made to get the RTPCR test done if suggested by the doctor.
