Pune Vyapari Mahasangh to Illuminate Three Key Pune Roads with Lighting. Check Details.

Pune : The Pune Vyapari Mahasangh has decided to illuminate the three major roads of Pune namely Laxmi Road, Bajirao Road, and Kumthekar Road along with the small lanes connecting them from October 10 to December 15 with decorative lights. The central part of the city is going to be illuminated with lights as this decision has been taken by the trade federation in the background of the Dussehra-Diwali festival.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Fatechand Ranka, President, Pune Vyapari Mahasangh said, “We are going to beautify this area for 45 days by lighting the main roads of Lakshmi Road, Bajirao Road and Kumthekar Road. This illumination will be done by textile, gold, and silver businessmen, and this is an effort to increase trade. The entire expense of the lighting will be borne by Pune Vyapari Mahasangh.”

As per further information, in various parts of the city, the streets are illuminated by local businessmen on the occasion of Dussehra-Diwali. During the festive season, an atmosphere of vivacity is created, which also spreads enthusiasm among the customers and is also beneficial for business growth. Against this backdrop, this year the Pune Vyapari Mahasangh has decided to electrify the main commercial roads in the city.

On Bajirao Road, from Saraswati Mandir School to Appa Balwant Chowk, on Lakshmi Road from Nagarkar Talim Chowk to Vijay Talkies, on Kumthekar Road from ‘Tathastu’ Shop to ‘Bank of Maharashtra’ and all the lanes connecting Lakshmi Road and Kumthekar Road will be illuminated.
