Pune Weather Update : Heat wave likely to hit most parts of the country : IMD Pune

Pune, May 14 : The heat wave is likely to face by most parts of the country with states like Western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, with the north and Central India and the national capital too. The heat wave is likely to come in the West Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha on Sunday, according to the Indian Metrological Department (IMD).

The Meteorological Department felt severe heat waves will hit some parts of West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Central Maharashtra, West Rajasthan and Gujarat. The temperature is consistently increasing. The temperature in the outdoor area is estimated to remain or go above 40 degrees Celsius, IMD estimates.

On the other hand, the heat wave is produced after the highest temperature of the mountainous area. Hurricane ‘Machi’ has been created near Port Blair. IMD said that cyclone born in the Bay of Bengal is located in the north of the Port Blair of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. On Sunday, it is likely to move to North East and can go between Bangladesh’s Cox Market and Myanmar’s Kuuku. During this, 150-160 km of winds will flow, IMD added.
