In view of the shortage of oxygen cylinders required for Covid19 patients, Pune Municipal Corporation has taken step ahead and installed a 13 kilo litre oxygen tank at the Dr Naidu hospital.

The tank was officially inaugurated at the hands of Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol in presence of additional commissioner Dr. Kunal Khemnar, Shrinath Bhimale, Health department chief Dr Ashish Bharti, chief engineer Shrinivas Kandul and others.

This tank shall act as a central supply storage to the patients on oxygenated and ventilator beds admitted in Dr Naidu hospital. Also, PMC’s other hospitals such as Laigude, Dalvi, Bopodi hospital, etc. can avail the facility by filling up their oxygen cylinders from this point.
