18-Year-Old Dies in Delhi After AC Unit Falls on His Head
In a tragic incident in Delhi’s Doriwala area, an 18-year-old man named Jitesh lost his life after a window air conditioner fell on him from the second floor. The accident occurred at around 6:40 pm on Desh Bandhu Gupta Road.
CCTV footage captured the moment when Jitesh, sitting on his scooter and chatting with his friend Pranshu, 17, exchanged a hug. Just as they parted, the AC unit plummeted from above, striking Jitesh on the head and killing him instantly. Pranshu sustained injuries in the incident.
Jitesh was a resident of the Doriwala area, while Pranshu lives in Patel Nagar. Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
