200 Phones Stolen at Karan Aujla’s Concert in Gurugram, Fans Share Horrific Experiences
A resident of Delhi-NCR reports 200 mobile phones were stolen during Karan Aujla’s concert in Gurugram
A resident of Delhi-NCR shared a video on Instagram recounting her terrible experience at Punjabi singer-rapper Karan Aujla’s concert in Gurugram on Sunday. Priyal Kapoor disclosed that around 200 phones, including her brother’s, were stolen during the event.
“Nearly 200 phones were stolen at Karan Aujla’s concert today, including my brother’s. A gang was operating in the arena, and no one from Team Innovation or Karan’s team offered any help. We purchased tickets with our hard-earned money to enjoy the show, and as fans, the least we expect is for you and your team to look into this matter and help us recover our devices,” she wrote in the post.
Kapoor, a makeup artist, posted a video on Instagram called ‘It wasn’t a dream, it was a nightmare,’ showcasing a group of young people at a police station in Gurugram as they filed a complaint.
However, she isn’t the only one to report such incidents. In a separate post, Parth Soni, an Indian residing in Canada, recounted his experience at the Karan Aujla concert on Instagram, disclosing that he misplaced both his kada and neck chain during the event.
“I didn’t go to Karan Aujla’s show in Canada because I wanted to attend his concert in Delhi with all my friends. When we went, there were so many fights, and we also got involved in one. Two days later, I found out that the kada and the chain, which had an Om-shaped locket with a diamond, were missing! This concert proved to be really expensive—I’ve lost somewhere between ₹2-2.5 lakh,” says Soni.
