301 Kg Motichur Modak & 131 Liters Tender Coconut Ice Cream Offered To Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati
Various sweets are offered daily in front of the rich Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati. Similarly, many Ganesha devotees also offer modak, pedha, barfi as offerings. However, recently, 301 kg of Motichur Modak and 131 liters of Tender Coconut Ice Cream were offered to Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati.
As per further information, on behalf of Prabhat Farsan and Deepak Caterers, Deepak Malani, Nikhil Malani donated 301 kg of Motichur Modak and Kiga Group Directors Ganesh Gosavi and Kiran Salunke have donated 131 liters of Tender Coconut ice cream.Â
All these devotees were felicitated by Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganapati Trust. Also, the Modak was given as prasad to the devotees.
Nikhil Malani said that they have offered 301 kg of Motichur Modak to Ganapati Bappa. They started with 5 kg Modak almost 20 years ago. This year, it took a long time to prepare the 301 kg Modak. Also, many artisans worked hard for this.
Ganesh Gosavi said that 131 liters of ice cream was made as it was the 131st year of Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust. For this, other ingredients were used including coconut milk, 100 liters of milk. It took around 7 to 8 days to prepare the ice cream. Also, it was made in minus 22 degrees. They have been offering different types of ice creams to Ganapati Bappa for many years.
