350 Students Hospitalized Due to Suspected Food Poisoning at D Y Patil School in Pimpri Chinchwad
In a concerning incident, 35 students from DY Patil School in Shahunagar, Pimpri Chinchwad, fell ill after consuming sandwiches during a school-organized food session on Thursday, October 10. The students, mostly from classes 1 to 4, reported symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and stomach pain shortly after eating.
The school had served sandwiches and chutney, and as students began exhibiting symptoms, teachers quickly took action. The school administration was notified, and several students with severe symptoms were rushed to a nearby private hospital for treatment. Fortunately, they received medical attention and were later discharged.
