Elite Marque’s festive gesture goes viral for prioritising employee happiness and work-life balance

Delhi-based public relations firm Elite Marque has become the talk of the town after announcing a full 9-day Diwali holiday for all its employees. At a time when many companies are tightening office return policies and increasing workloads, Elite Marque’s gesture is being hailed as a shining example of progressive work culture.

In an internal email, CEO Rajat Grover declared holidays from October 18 to October 26, 2025, describing it as “bonus time” for employees to recharge, celebrate with family, and return refreshed. The email, written in a light-hearted tone, encouraged the staff to “binge-watch family dramas,” “break personal records of eating kaju katlis,” and “master the art of sleeping till noon.”

Grover further added, “Switch off from emails unless it’s Amazon, Swiggy, or Zomato.” He concluded with a cheerful note — “Till then, spread smiles, burst crackers responsibly, and enjoy every bit of the festive madness. Come back two kilos heavier and ten times happier.”
