It was a significant day for both the Pimpri Chinchwad Police and local citizens as Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister, Ajit Pawar, visited the Commissioner of Police (CP) office. During his visit, he flagged off 57 new police vehicles, which include 47 Bolero Neo, 6 Scorpio, 2 XUV 700, and 2 Innova, enhancing the police fleet. Additionally, tablets were distributed to staff for more efficient passport verification.

Pawar also launched the new Standing Orders and Instructions Book for the police department and reviewed plans for the development of four new police stations at Bavdhan, Sant Tukaram Nagar, Kalewadi, and Dapodi. He further discussed the allocation of 9 acres of land at Chikhali for the CP office and 15 acres at Wakad for residential quarters.

The visit also covered future infrastructure projects, including a new CP office building, a dedicated Cyber Police Station, as well as new police stations in Pimpri, Alandi, and Mahalunge, along with 200 residential quarters for officers.
