Three More Arrested In Baba Siddique Murder Case From Pune, 14 Held So Far
Mumbai Police have made three more arrests in connection with the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique. The suspects, identified as Rupesh Rajendra Mohol (22), Karan Rahul Salve (19), and Shivam Arvind Kohad (20), were arrested from Pune on Wednesday.
Siddique, a three-time MLA and former minister, was shot dead on October 12 outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra, Mumbai. Earlier, another accused, Amit Hisamsing Kumar (29), was arrested from Haryana.
With these recent arrests, the total number of people held in connection with the case has risen to 14.
According to police, the gunmen involved in the murder had practiced firing in a remote area near a waterfall in Raigad district before carrying out the attack. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are examining various motives, including contract killing and business disputes.
