Pune News: Ajit Gavhane Criticizes Ten Years Of Mismanagement in Pimpri-Chinchwad
Ajit Gavhane, the official candidate of the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) from the Bhosari constituency, spoke to the media after filing his nomination. He criticized the current MLA’s performance over the last decade, stating that the administration has become synonymous with corruption and mismanagement.
“Looking at the last ten years of governance in the Bhosari assembly, it’s clear that tenders have been awarded with specific individuals in mind, estimates have been inflated, and the quality of work has deteriorated significantly. We have seen this decline in quality even in the construction of the statue of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj,” Gavhane remarked. He noted that the Maha Vikas Aghadi has brought these issues to light, but the result has been a tarnished reputation for Pimpri-Chinchwad across Maharashtra.
Gavhane highlighted that the Maha Vikas Aghadi has announced candidates for the Bhosari, Pimpri, and Chinchwad constituencies, including himself, Sulakshana Dhar from Pimpri, and Rahul Kalate from Chinchwad. He emphasized that they would approach the elections unitedly across all three constituencies, dismissing any internal disagreements among the coalition partners. He asserted that the true state of affairs would be revealed during the elections, countering the false narratives of development that have been painted.
