A tragic event took place where a woman took her own life by jumping from the 22nd floor of a building in the Hiranandani Estate complex in Thane district. Before making this drastic choice, she sat on the balcony and chewed gutka. The victim has been identified as Disksha Dhuldhule (45 years old)
This incident has created a significant disturbance in the area. The woman had come to the building for work, specifically to attend to a patient. She used an access card to reach the 22nd floor, where she sat on the stairs, consumed gutka, and then jumped.
The shocking event occurred around 9:30 AM on Thursday. Reports suggest she committed suicide while in a refuge flat. It has been indicated that the woman was overwhelmed by the severe illnesses affecting her husband and children. Her husband was suffering from kidney disease, and her son had a serious eye condition. The family’s financial struggles further contributed to her mental distress. Faced with ongoing health issues in the family, the woman made this heartbreaking decision.
Upon learning of the incident, the police quickly arrived at the scene. They have taken the body into custody, and it is tentatively believed that she ended her life due to depression.
