State-of-the-Art E-Library To Open In Pimpri-Chinchwad's Samvidhan Bhavan
Pimpri-Chinchwad is poised to welcome its first international e-library, a groundbreaking facility set to revolutionize research and education in the region. Located within the upcoming Samvidhan Bhavan and Vipassana Centre in Chikhali Pradhikaran, this state-of-the-art library promises unparalleled access to digital resources, collaborative study spaces, and cutting-edge technology.
The e-library will feature a vast collection of digital resources, including online databases, e-books, journals, and research papers across various disciplines. Equipped workstations with computers, high-speed internet, and charging stations will enable seamless research and study. Additionally, the facility will include quiet reading rooms, collaborative study areas, and multimedia rooms to cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
Mahesh Landge, MLA of Bhosari Assembly (BJP), highlighted the project’s significance, stating, “This e-library will be a beacon for knowledge seekers, providing equal access to information and opportunities for all.” The library’s design prioritizes accessibility, inclusivity, and sustainability, incorporating universal design standards for visitors with disabilities, green spaces for relaxation, and energy-efficient systems.
