Prasanna Kumar DP, a 12-year-old student from Swaroopa Adyayana Kendra, has made history by illustrating the entire Bhagavad Gita using 84,426 intricate pictures. This remarkable feat earned him a place in the India Book of Records (IBR) as an IBR Achiever, showcasing his dedication and artistic prowess.
Details of the Achievement
• Pictorial Language Innovation: Prasanna used a unique pictorial language developed by Swaroopa Adyayana Kendra to represent all 700 shlokas of the Bhagavad Gita visually. Each word of the sacred text was transformed into a distinct picture, with 84,426 illustrations created in total.
• Timeframe: Over 2.5 months, Prasanna produced 1,400 lines of illustrations on hardboard sheets, dedicating day and night to his project.
• Background: Prasanna is the son of Pampapathi and Nandini from Holehonnur, Shivamogga district. After studying at Rashtrothana Vidhyalaya in Shivamogga until Class VI, he joined Swaroopa Adyayana Kendra in Mangaluru a year ago.
