Pune: Persistent Traffic Woes Frustrate Keshav Nagar Residents
Pune, December 6: Residents of Keshav Nagar are increasingly frustrated by daily traffic issues in the area. The lack of functional infrastructure has become a significant concern, with delays in addressing key connectivity points adding to their woes.
One major issue highlighted is the non-operational underpass at Amanora, which remains ready but unused. Additionally, the slow pace of construction on the Kharadi-Keshav Nagar bridge is compounding the traffic problem, leaving residents with no respite.
“This is the situation every day in Keshav Nagar. It’s extremely frustrating,” said Chaitanya Sharma, a member of the Mundhwa Residents Forum. Locals have repeatedly appealed to the authorities to expedite these infrastructure projects, emphasizing the urgent need to ease the traffic bottleneck in the area.
The completion and proper functioning of these projects are expected to significantly improve connectivity and reduce travel time for residents commuting to and from Keshav Nagar. However, until decisive action is taken, the frustration of the community is likely to persist.
