Bogus School In Pune Exposed: Parents Duped with False Promises Of Horse Riding Lessons In Hadapsar SchoolÂ
Maharashtra to Align School Academic Calendar with CBSE from 2026-27, Sparks Debate
A shocking case of a bogus school has come to light in Pune, leaving parents and students in a state of distress. Marathon International School in Hadapsar, Pune, was found to be operating without proper credentials, duping parents with false promises of horse riding lessons and other facilities.
According to reports, the school had advertised its admission process, attracting parents with promises of horse riding lessons, among other activities. On the day of admission, the school even brought four horses to the gate, convincing parents that their children would receive horse riding lessons as part of the curriculum.
However, it was later discovered that the school did not have the necessary infrastructure or facilities to provide horse riding lessons. Furthermore, when parents went to file a complaint against the school, it was revealed that the school’s U-DICE number was incorrect, indicating that the school was not recognized by the education department.
The education department has taken cognizance of the matter and is set to register a criminal case against the school. The future of the students currently enrolled in the school remains uncertain, leaving parents worried and concerned.
This incident serves as a warning to parents to be cautious when selecting schools for their children. The Zilla Parishad has appealed to parents to take necessary precautions and verify the credentials of schools before taking admission.
The incident also raises questions about the lack of oversight and regulation in the education sector, allowing bogus schools to operate and dupe parents. The authorities must take swift action to address this issue and ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.
