Pune To Experience Water Supply Disruption On December 26Â
Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a planned disruption in water supply for various areas on Thursday, 26th December 2024, due to essential maintenance work. The disruption will be necessary for the installation of a 450 mm butterfly valve on the pipeline of the Parvati MLR tank at Harkanagar Bhawani Peth. Additionally, a 300 mm diameter pipe will be connected to a 500 mm pipe as part of the same water supply project.
As a result, water supply will be fully suspended in the affected areas throughout the day on 26th December. On the following day, Friday, 27th December, water supply may be restored with a delay, and residents might experience low water pressure in the morning.

Restoration of Water Supply: Water supply is expected to be restored on 27th December 2024, though delays are possible, and the water pressure may be lower than usual in the late morning.
The PMC has urged residents to make advance arrangements for their water needs during this period and to store adequate water before the disruption. The Corporation reassures citizens that the maintenance work will be completed as quickly as possible to minimize inconvenience.
