Pune: Jewellery Worth Rs. 12.5 Lakh Stolen from Bungalow in Sinhagad Road, While Family Was on Pilgrimage

Gold jewelry worth Rs 12.40 lakh was stolen from a bungalow in the Vadgaon Budruk area on Sinhagad Road. The Sinhagad Road police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the burglary.
According to the police, the theft took place while the complainant’s parents were away on a pilgrimage. The family’s bungalow, situated on Venutai Mahavidyalaya Road in Vadgaon Budruk, was vacant at that time. The thieves reportedly broke the lock of the bungalow two days ago and entered the room, where they took the gold ornaments that were kept in a cupboard.
The burglary was discovered when the complainant noticed the broken lock and quickly reported it at the Sinhagad Road police station. Assistant Police Inspector Nikam is in charge of the investigation.
