Former Corporator Seeks Solutions From PMC To Civic Issues In NIBM, Parge Nagar, And Undri
Pune, January 3, 2025 – A significant step towards addressing the concerns of residents in NIBM, Kausarbaug, Salunkhe Vihar Road, Kondhwa, Parge Nagar, Undri, and nearby areas was taken during a meeting held with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) officials.
The residents are currently facing severe Road issues including potholes Roads, lack of streetlights, poor water supply, encroachment, traffic congestion, cleanliness in the area. Lonkar informed that the officials of various departments have been asked to expedite the pending work including acquisition of various spaces for carrying out development work in NIBM Road, Kondhwa, Undri, Parge Nagar.
“The meeting, convened under the directions of Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and the guidance of Pravin V. Patil, saw the participation of Municipal Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Bhonsale (IAS), Additional Commissioners, and heads of key departments, including Roads, Encroachments, Water Supply, and Garbage Disposal,” informed Nanda Lonkar.
Former Corporator Nanda Lonkar, along with local representatives Narayan Lonkar and Zoheb Kazi, led discussions to address challenges faced by residents. The collaborative effort aims to holistically resolve civic issues and transform the region into one of Pune’s most livable and well-maintained areas.
Expressing gratitude to the leadership of Ajit Pawar and Pravin V. Patil, Nanda Lonkar emphasized their steadfast commitment to the welfare of the community.
