Traffic Diversion in Pune for Army Day Parade in Yerwada And Khadki area 

January 15, 2025  

In light of the Army Day Parade scheduled on January 15, 2025, at Bombay Engineering Group (BEG), Pune, and the visit of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, traffic diversions will be implemented temporarily between Chandrama Chowk and Holkar Bridge. These changes aim to facilitate smooth movement and security during the event.  

The diversions will be effective on January 15, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Citizens are requested to take note of the following route changes:  

Traffic Diversions:  

1. Chandrama Chowk to Holkar Bridge: 

   The route will remain closed. Vehicles can take the alternative route via Shadal Baba Chowk, Sangamwadi, and Engineering College Chowk to reach their destination.  

2. Vishrantwadi to Khadki via Chandrama Chowk:  

   Traffic from Vishrantwadi to Khadki via Chandrama Chowk will be diverted through Sapras, Old Holkar Bridge, and onward.  

3. Khadki to Holkar Bridge:

   Vehicles from Khadki heading toward Holkar Bridge should take the route via Bopodi Chowk, Khadki Market, Ayudh Chowk, and Tank Road.  

4. Poultry Farm Chowk to Holkar Bridge:  

   Traffic from Poultry Farm Chowk to Holkar Bridge will remain closed. Vehicles should take Old Holkar Bridge or alternate routes via Sappers  

5. No-Vehicle Zones: 

   Heavy vehicles will not be allowed from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on the following routes:  

•    – Alandi Road Junction to Chandrama Chowk  
•    – Chandrama Chowk to Holkar Bridge  

Citizen Advisory:  

Citizens are requested to use the designated alternative routes and cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event.
