Maha Shivratri 2025: Devotees Flock To Sankat Haran Mahadev Mandir On NIBM Road For Lord Shiva’s Blessings
Pune – The spiritual fervor is at its peak as Maha Shivratri 2025 approaches, drawing hundreds of devotees to Shree Sankat Haran Mahadev Mandir on NIBM Road, Kondhwa Khurd. The grand celebrations, set for Wednesday, 26 February 2025, promise a day of devotion, prayers, and cultural festivities dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The temple opened its doors early in the morning, with rituals beginning at 5:30 AM. Devotees participated in Rudra Swahakar, Maharudrabhishek, Homa, and Havan, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. Prasad distribution will continue from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, allowing devotees to receive divine blessings.
Adding to the celebrations, several bhajan mandals will perform soulful renditions throughout the day. The evening highlights include a Dhoop Aarti at 7:00 PM, followed by a Bharatanatyam performance by Guru Shumita Mahajan and Sadhana Nrutyalaya, Pune.
The spiritual festivities will extend to Thursday, 27 February, with a Shiv Bhandara (Maha Prasad) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the temple premises. Organized under the guidance of Tanaji Dnyandev Lonkar, Ex-Corporator, PMC, NIBM, the event promises a well-coordinated and enriching experience for all devotees.
