Under this initiative, 14 lakh students from 6,000 schools and 20 lakh children from 30,000 Anganwadis will undergo medical check-ups from head to toe, providing crucial insights into their health conditions. He further emphasized that children’s health is not just a family concern but is critical for society and the nation’s future. He stressed the need for strong, healthy children who can excel in academics and grow into responsible citizens. Many children suffer from malnutrition, anemia, eye and dental issues, heart disease, leprosy, and other conditions, which can affect their overall well-being. Through this program, affected children will receive specialized treatment and surgeries at government hospitals and empaneled hospitals under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, ensuring maximum benefits for those in need.

The government is also focused on expanding cancer prevention initiatives for women. Recognizing the rising incidence of cancer, Ajit Pawar announced that the state government is considering the introduction of a vaccine as a preventive measure, with a decision expected soon.
